Bia New Forest Escape takes place, following all current government guidelines

Postponed from the end of March 2020, when lockdown happened, the date for the weekend getaway to the New Forest was shifted to a time later in the year, when things were to be ‘more settled’ amid the corona crisis that has engulfed the world. With careful planning, and close consultation with government guidelines, we were in fact able to continue with the Escape between Friday the 25 th and Sunday the 27th September.
Setting off from Twyford in Berkshire, in our socially restricted bubbles, we headed off towards the village of Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest, where our weary bodies would be very grateful for the warm welcome of the hotel staff. The Escape weekend is all about being spoilt, both on and off the bike, and that’s exactly what happened. The ladies were treated to a superb three days of routes (albeit a little windy) amazing food, a fully stocked support vehicle and a bag full of spoils, topped off with some much-needed chatting and laughing.

Join a small group of like-minded people from all over the world as we tackle some of the best roads you’ll ever ride. Space is limited to 10 guests, so ensure you book your spot early.

If you’re concerned about training, don’t be. Once you’re confirmed, we’ll send you all the route details, what to expect as well as a personalised training program.

Following the UK Government guidelines on events with regards to the Covid-19 pandemic, all Bia events and rides are postponed until further notice.

The Bia New Forest Escape will take place later in the year, on a date yet to be confirmed.

The New Forest Escape details

Ride days:

3 days of riding (Friday to Sunday)

Friday:

Ride from Maidenhead area to New Forest, via beautiful country lanes, stopping for lunch, coffee & cake along the way. Rolling terrain, easy pace

Saturday:

Ride to the coast, lunch and coffee in Beautiful Bournemouth and back to the New Forest.

Sunday:

Ride within the New Forest, taking in all that the area has to offer. Beautiful quiet lanes, ponies, donkeys, pigs and all other beauties. Coffee stop along the way.

Travel home as a group.
